Then in the summer of 2018, I planned to visit a friend in Albany, which is about a 6 hour drive away. I would occasionally get an audiobook if I was going on a roadtrip, but I didn’t read or listen consistently. I would read a book every now and again, but I missed so many good ones in the meantime. Then I fell out of the reading habit for awhile due to those pesky distractions of college, work, then the big one – babies.
I read my first Stephen King book (Night Shift) at about 12 years old and I was hooked! I read most of his work for the next 10 years or so. I’m a 40-something mom of 2 girls, and I work full time as a project manager for a manufacturing company.
